Burnt Oak, London care Home
Life at Hiren House
Our care home offers quality residential, dementia, palliative & respite care in the Burnt Oak and Kingsbury area of London.
How we care
Dedicated care, like you were our own family.
Being able to plan for your care or that of a loved one is an important factor in removing some stress from the process of transitioning from living in your own home.
We want every resident’s journey into our care home to be simple. That is why once you have undertaken an assessment from our expert team, you can plan, knowing the fee that you pay will be the same each week. Should your needs change, we are there at every step of the way to clarify any changes that may need to be made.
Our care at Hiren House
Our focus is on tailored, individual care for people over 65, with varying needs. From those seeking relief from isolation, people who need a helping hand with the day-to-day or individuals who require more complex nursing needs, we are here to advise you and your families what is best for each and every individual.
Residential Care
Isolation affects millions of elderly people each year in the UK. As well as quality care, our homes provide a sense of community to our residents. We offer a host of activities for residents to take part In, encouraging them to live independently whilst giving help and support where needed.
Nursing Care
As we age people’s needs change, and this can often be unexpected and disconcerting. Our teams are trained to adapt to these changing needs, helping residents adjust to fluctuations in their health whilst retaining their independence as much as possible. This assistance means residents can focus on living their best life.
Dementia Care
We understand that learning to live with dementia can be hard for the individual and their loved ones. There are different types and stages of dementia, meaning everyone’s care needs are different Our teams are on hand to advise, recommend and plan for a life with dementia, tailoring our care to each individual.
Respite Care
Not everyone needs permanent care. Perhaps loved ones are going away and want peace of mind that you’ll be safe in their absence. Or maybe you’re coming out of a hospital stay and need additional support whilst you recover. Our respite residents have access to all the benefits of permanent residents, just on a short-term basis.
Palliative Care
Our residents’ quality of life is our priority, and so our aim is to make them feel as comfortable as possible during the final stages of life. We understand how difficult this time is for families, so our team of kind and compassionate staff are here to make the journey as easy as possible.
Plenty to do. Plenty of fun.
Activities & well-being
Residents have regular opportunities to be active and sociable, with indoor and outdoor activities taking place most days, including board games, exercise, walks, trips, karaoke and group discussions.
Residents who prefer peace and quiet are equally catered for in the more tranquil areas of the home. If there’s something not on the agenda, we’ll always listen to our residents and where possible accommodate their desires.
Food & Nutrition
Fresh food, every meal
Our brilliant cooks create wonderful wholesome, fresh food for our residents to enjoy in the dining room or in the comfort of their own bedroom.
Using fresh, local ingredients where possible, residents benefit from a healthy, balanced diet of delicious and nutritious meals. Everything is homemade which means we can cater to any dietary requirements and preferences.
